'Begin to act the part of the person you would like to become' ~ John C Maxwell
Press pause for a moment and ask yourself 'are you being your best you today?'. For most of us, the answer is unfortunately no. We live in a constantly busy society which takes, takes, takes. This leaves us often feeling tired and depleted, run down, burnt out...Join us for the chance to learn some simple strategies to help you be the best version of yourself. Enjoy an invigorating meditation and nutritious breakfast to set you up for the day. Listen as Dianna Lee Daniels, an experienced psychologist, shares with us some of her well-researched strategies on recognising your own inner knowledge and wisdom, your sense of self-identity, building resilience and awareness and improving health and well-being. We can't wait to see you.
All proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to Beyond Blue.

I truly believe we are all capable of becoming who we were meant to be, drawing on our experiences and learnings and become aligned with our inner self. I love helping others explore their own self-identity and give themselves permission to know their own worth, to trust who they are and stop trying to fit the expectations of others and society as a whole. I prefer to work from a Person-centred, Humanistic and Holistic approach to life. I draw on my own experiences and others’ experiences in providing guidance, expertise and knowledge.

The approaches I draw from include: Positive Psychology (PP, becoming aware of what works for you and what does not work for you), Supportive-Expressive Therapy (SET, acknowledging and normalising concerns), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT, correctly identifying emotions that impact on the self), Narrative Therapy (NT, telling your story and externalising problems from the self), Relational Life Therapy (RLT, identifying the patterns we are stuck in within a Patriarchal framework), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT, identifying and modifying ineffective thoughts and old patterns), Self Compassion (SC, focusing on the here and now to address concerns or challenges), Mindful Meditation (MM, incorporating pockets of time to re-energise and refocus the self).
