APPI

On the basis of academic scholarship the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) was established 20 years ago by Australian physiotherapists Glenn and Elisa Withers. Their initial study ‘Clinical relevance of Pilates exercise for clients with back and pelvic pain’ led to the development of the APPI method used today. This ground-breaking approach to Pilates combines modified movements, and a unique exercise-level approach to allow optimal effectiveness of every Pilates exercise.

Since its inception Unite Health has established itself as the leading provider of Pilates teacher training nationally, offering both clinical and fitness based Pilates course streams and certifying over 10,000 students.
