APPI's Leg Pull in Prone Level 1 with Variations

This video demonstrates a series of variations of the leg pull in prone exercise from the APPI Matwork Level 1 course.

The four point kneeling position is incredibly effective for addressing cervical, thoracic and shoulder pain as it challenges the anti-gravity muscles. The 90 degree hip flexion also replicates sitting posture and so can be used to retrain those with poor sitting endurance. The use of the theraband encourages protraction and therefore activation of the serratus anterior which is often a key component of scapular rehabilitation.
