Alongside learning the APPI Pilates repertoire we include comprehensive lessons on anatomy, ensuring you understand the body's mechanics and how Pilates positively impacts it. Plus, we provide workshops on finding employment or opening your own studio to provide you with invaluable insights into the business side of Pilates that way you are 100% industry ready upon graduating. One of the ways in which we ensure our community and students have the very best chance at completing their APPI Pilates Instructor Certification and going on to carve out a successful and rewarding career in Pilates is by offering multiple delivery formats
Part-Time Option: Online and In-person: 5-6 Months (Weekends Only)
Our part-time option is offered across all of Australia, and is designed for anyone looking for a more flexible way to complete their Pilates certification. If you have a busy schedule or demanding lifestyle, this is an excellent option for you.
The part-time format requires you to attend 3 online weekend sessions followed by 4 in-person weekend sessions over 5-6 months, so you have plenty of time outside of this to maintain your existing work, schedule, routines etc. Over the span of these 5-6 months, you’ll receive highly comprehensive training in Pilates, including learning the foundational Pilates movements and sequences, how you can provide progressions and regressions to cater to individual clients, and a thorough knowledge of human anatomy. If you’re not in a desperate hurry to complete your training and dive into the industry, or you prefer to learn at a more gradual pace, this part-time option is ideal for you!
Intensive Option: In-person: 3 Weeks (Weekdays only)
Our 3 week intensive format is the perfect fit for anyone wanting to complete their APPI Pilates Certification as quickly as possible, so you can dive right into the industry and start leaving your mark!
This option is currently exclusive to Melbourne, however it attracts many interstate students who travel to partake in this enriching experience.
Over a jam-packed 3 weeks, you’ll work your way through an immersive curriculum, which covers all the essential aspects of Pilates – including theory, teaching techniques, and plenty of opportunity for practical implementation and practice.
Split into 6 days focusing on anatomy and matwork, and 8 days on reformer Pilates training, you’ll cover everything you need to know to be industry ready in just 3 weeks.
If you’re able to commit a brief, focused period of time to get your studies done, and want to start carving out your future career as soon as possible, this is the option for you. Plus, some people find the condensed, intensive focus really motivating and useful for helping you retain and learn as much as possible in a short period.
In addition, this format fosters a unique community where connections are made and lifelong friendships are formed. By immersing yourself fully in the learning process, you're not just acquiring knowledge, you're actively engaging everyday with your peers and instructors.
Hybrid Option: Online & In-person: Across 3 Months (Weekends and Weekdays)
Our newer Hybrid course options offer the perfect blend between online and in-person learning, taking just 3 months to complete. At the moment these are only available in Sydney and Melbourne, but watch this space as we plan to roll this format out across other states in the future. You can also schedule a chat with us here if you want to be added to the waitlist for this option when it launches in your state.
Over the 3 months, you’ll initially attend online Zoom sessions across various weekends from the comfort of your own home. Then, this will be followed by an 8-day Reformer in-person training on weekdays, allowing you to complete your certification requirements. These in-person intensive sessions are held at our High Street studio in Melbourne, and at Mode Pilates in Sydney.
If you like to break up your online and in-person learning formats, this is a perfect solution for you. A chance to meet others in your course and industry, and network and form friendships, while also ensuring you can relax at home on weekends and study from your couch! It’s also super popular amongst full-time workers, as the leave requirements are much more achievable and you’re still able to get through your certification really quickly and efficiently.
Evening Option: Online & In-Person: 3 Months (Weeknights and Weekdays)
Do you have commitments (like work or kids) during the day, but a more flexible schedule at night? This could be the best option for you to complete your Pilates certification!
The online component of this course format provides an engaging mix of live instruction and hands-on practice. On Tuesday and Thursday evenings over 6 weeks, you'll delve into live interactive sessions and interactive online discussions. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to attend practical, hands-on training sessions during the in-person intensive that runs for 8 days (with a weekend off in between).
This option is often available in VIC, NSW, SA, WA & QLD and is specifically designed for those with daytime commitments or busy schedules, allowing you to work towards your dream career or side hustle while still keeping your existing commitments.
100% Online Option: Self-Paced
This course option makes it possible for anyone to complete their Pilates certification at their own pace, in their own time. Because we want to give everyone the chance to learn from the most respected, renowned experts in the industry when they pursue their career in Pilates.
This self-paced course gives you the freedom to study at the times that best suit your schedule, meaning you can work around your work commitments, family obligations, social life, and other activities.
