APPI Pilates for Menopause
Designed to equip students with the tools needed to ensure they can provide the very best Pilates sessions for women from peri through to post menopause.
This course offers education on the anatomy and physiology of menopause, an understanding of current treatment options and a selection of Pilates exercises aimed to increase strength, bone health and balance through resistance training and weight bearing exercises. The course also discusses the benefits of mindfulness and how to include this within your sessions.
APPI Pilates and the Pelvic Floor
This course provides comprehensive education on the anatomy and function of the pelvic floor in relation to the entire body.
Offering a deep understanding of pelvic floor dysfunction and the necessary considerations for exercise. You will learn essential exercises for the pelvic floor and how to integrate Pilates techniques to enhance pelvic floor function for your clients, providing a holistic approach to pelvic health.
APPI Pilates for Endometriosis
This course will provide you with specialised knowledge, enabling you to tailor exercises for endometriosis clients. This course will enhance your understanding of pain management, core strengthening, and holistic health. Equipping you with the skills to provide safe, effective and comprehensive, targeted care for endometriosis symptoms.
Inclusions: Access to three x8 hour (1 day CPD) online courses, all pre-course lectures, downloadable course manuals and worksheets.
Equipment: You will need a theraband, head cushion, mat, swiss ball and soft Pilates ball to complete these courses.
Duration: Each course is the equivilant of a 1 day course taking aproximately 6 - 8 hours to complete each
Eligabiity: To be eligible to enrol into this series you must have completed either APPI Matwork Level 1, APPI Pilates Instructor Certification or a 2 day matwork Pilates course from a recognised provider.
CPD hours: You will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course stating 24 hours CPD which can be used towards your annual requirements.
Once enrolled you have 12-months access to this online course.
