This short course, designed and led by yoga, meditation and breathwork instructor Ryan Mannix, introduces powerful tools to integrate mindfulness, meditation and breathwork into Pilates practice. Created for Pilates instructors and enthusiasts alike, it provides practical techniques to enhance mind-body awareness, improve focus and promote overall well-being.

 

Throughout the course, participants will explore three guided practical video sessions, broken down into: 

 

  • Breathwork: teaching techniques to calm the nervous system, increase body awareness and enhance movement control. Participants will learn how to effectively cue breath in Pilates to support flow, alignment and stability.
  • Mindfulness: offering simple yet effective strategies to cultivate presence and focus during Pilates practice. Ryan explains how mindful awareness can enrich class delivery, improve cueing and foster a stronger connection between instructor and client.
  • Meditation: guiding participants through practices designed to complement the Pilates method. These meditations encourage self-awareness, reduce stress and bring a deeper sense of balance and connection to both teaching and personal practice.

 

Across all three sessions, Ryan blends theory with practical application, providing adaptable tools that can be used in group classes, private sessions or individual routines.
