The APPI Reformer Pilates Beginner & Intermediate online class introduces beginner and intermediate movements on the reformer.  This online class runs through a typical class format including a warm-up, main body, and a cool-down.  This online class runs through a typical class format including a warm-up, main body, and a cool-down.  Utilising functional recruitment of specific muscle groups, this fun, and interactive class will get you practicing different positions on the reformer.  Learn to progress from short to long levers, closed kinetic chain to open chain exercises, and to functional upright positions.

The class provides a full-body workout, with key focus areas of:

  • Hip, knee and ankle alignment
  • Pelvic control
  • Abdominal strengthening
  • Arm strengthening
  • Upper body postural awareness

Class duration: Approx 45 minutes
