Designed by Australian physiotherapist, Irene Ais for physiotherapists and rehabilitation professionals, the Unite Health Yoga Method presents the most recent research relevant to Yoga and teaches a realistic, safe and effective framework of Yoga exercises for rehabilitation and therapy.
Yoga history and philosophy are explored to develop solid foundations for Yoga teaching. Poses, breathing and meditation techniques are presented through a variety of teaching methods with a focus on participation in numerous practical sessions. Throughout the course, clinical applications of yoga principles, as well as the exercises themselves will be explored. Case studies will be reviewed and participants have the chance to design and discuss their own yoga programs. Irene Ais has spent 15 years exploring the ancient practice of Yoga. She is a Melbourne based Physiotherapist, a certified Yoga teacher, AcroYoga teacher and Pilates instructor.
Irene will take you on a journey to discover the transformative effects of yoga. She is passionate about helping students navigate the physical poses while offering an invitation to drop into the energetic practice.
