Designed by Australian physiotherapist, Irene Ais for physiotherapists and rehabilitation professionals, the Unite Health Yoga Method presents the most recent research relevant to Yoga and teaches a realistic, safe and effective framework of Yoga exercises for rehabilitation and therapy.

Yoga history and philosophy are explored to develop solid foundations for Yoga teaching. Poses, breathing and meditation techniques are presented through a variety of teaching methods with a focus on participation in numerous practical sessions. Throughout the course, clinical applications of yoga principles, as well as the exercises themselves will be explored.  Case studies will be reviewed and participants have the chance to design and discuss their own yoga programs. Guided meditation and breathing techniques assist participants in generating the skills required for effective programs spanning the layers of mind, body, and breath that yoga influences.

This course will also provide the skills for skillful physical and verbal pose adjustments and how to increase teaching skills for leading classes.
