During the course you’ll learn beginner, intermediate and advanced original and APPI evolved Pilates movements along with countless modifications and variations. Special consideration is made to movement selection, muscle recruitment and patterning, alignment, modification, feedback and progression throughout the tutorials.
The theoretical workshops will develop and refine visual, tactile, audio cueing, 1:1 program planning, home exercise program planning and group teaching for students to develop their skills and confidence to become comprehensive and articulate teachers.
The course will look at individual teaching and 1:1 program planning as well as discuss how to run mixed studio sessions where you incorporate other pieces of equipment into a group session.
Pre-requisite: APPI Matwork Level 1, APPI Pilates Instructor Certification or a formal 2-day Matwork Pilates course is the prerequisite for this course
Eligability: This course is designed for allied health professionals/students and qualified Pilates instructors
