APPI's Equipment Level 3 ~ Cat Standing Front

APPI's Equipment Level 3 ~ Cat Standing Front

This video demonstrates the cat standing front exercise on the split pedal chair which is part of APPI’s Equipment Level 3 course for Spinal Articulation.

You’ll see the model moving into a roll down movement while using the resistance of the chair to engage the core and work the triceps. The use of the chair compared to doing the exercise in free standing helps to increase the client’s body awareness, thus helping them improve their spinal articulation.

This exercise works well for anyone who needs to improve their spinal articulation, body awareness into flexion and flexibility such as mechanical, non-discogenic lower back pain, or general tightness in the hamstrings and calves.
